Geek volunteer helping can help tutor other students and provide tech training to people that are not tech savvy.
Peer-to-Peer Tutoring
Geeks volunteering their time to help their peers free of charge. The tutoring would mostly cover classes such as AP Computer Science and any other tech base classes. Services include:
- Debugging help.
- Conceptual review and explanation.
- Computational thinking.
- Directions to additional sources of information.
Tech Training for the Community
Technology is becoming an essential part of our society. Many community members lack necessary skills to properly use technology and prevent loss of their personal information. Geeks can volunteer to provide these essential training to community members who lack these important skills.
